DEM FILTERING

Hi, I have an Original extracted DEM and a smoothed filtered DEM. I want to know if it is possible to obtain this result with PCI Geomatics and what are the filtering algorithms. I have tried everything, but couldn't get the same smooth result. check below. DEM is smoothed and all noise is removed.

Hello,

You can edit a DEM using various filters from the DEM Editing tool in Focus. Alternately you can use the DSM2DTM algorithm. Please see the tutorials below for more information. Note that the results will vary for each DEM and you may need to try different filtering methods to achieve the output required.
