I'm working on a big dataset and want to be able to export my vector attribute tables to XLS in python as part of my automation workflow. I need specific fields, but not polygon coordinates, so VREAD doesn't work. Does anyone know how? I couldn't find documentation for this specifically.

Hi Joel,
You could try using the VECREP algorithm to put the attributes into a text file using the VRTYPE = TABLE parameter then import the information to Excel.
